At one point Bipasha was in the top 5 and was on the same page as PC, Kareena, Preity etc..

I don't understand why or how her downfall happened?

Why do you think is she no longer as relevant as some of her contemporaries?

I like Bipasha.. she's so beautiful and she was great in the movie Corporate! 😳
I really wish we saw her in more movies!!

In bollywood, it is very very difficult for actress to survive. There is like endless supply of new actress. For actors, its pretty much opposite. Once you are somewhat established, you will have to give way too many flops to be completely written off.

Shahid Kapoor is a good example. He is in the industry since so long yet hasn't given many hits. However, he is still in demand.

Age is another factor. Bipasha is 35, yet looks in 20s. She is damn fit and hot but she is not leading lady anymore. Bang Bang will be her last big movie. Don't think she will receive any movies after that.

I don't know I think she's just sooo gorgeous and she's not a bad actress either. I think the last movie I remember her in is Raaz 3. And now she's playing 2nd lead heroine in a Sajid Khan film Not that there's anything wrong with that, she should take all opportunities she gets. It's just I feel she's too good and established for that

She was more of a sex icon imo. I remember a lot of hype about her bikini scene pre D2 release and she had a bimbo role. She couldn't get out of the stereotype, I guess.

Wasn't she already well known before John though.

She debuted in 2001 and won best female debute at the film fare awards for Ajnabee

Did 7 films till John arrived

John debuted in 2003. Nominated for Jism but lost.

Both her and John were surviving because they were a couple.

John has still managed to do Ok, nowhere near the top, but survive. Bipasha is just about done.

Sadly, I think people only saw her as a sex object..she was basically synonymous with item songs and sexy roles..which end up hurting her career because no one cared or took her seriously outside of that.
