Finally found someone who agrees, I so concur! Upon hearing the raving reviews, I decided to watch it thinking it would be great only to be disappointed by it... Very drab it was and I kept anticipating that the story should pick up now.. but that never happened, not even when they began exchanging letters. I didn't feel invested in their 'bond' nor felt Nimrat's (her character in the movie rather) plight. Didn't see the point of the side characters either..

I think Dhobi Ghaat- Mumbai Diaries represented Mumbai better, (not sure how the two can be compared otherwise) and was a better movie by a mile.
All the fuss about it not being chosen for the Oscars- a big joke!

You watched it in India? I watched one movie in India and that was De Dana Dhan.. 😆😆 Haven't experienced anything else.

I liked Irfan in this movie with that girl who is also in Wake Up Sid. That was a good movie.

Was the food packed in the lunchbox good.

It is not usual BW story.
It has a love story,ppl like love stories.
Great acting.
Movies like this are rarely made here,something new for audience.
some nice dialogues.
Big names like kjo-kashyap involved.

I haven't seen the movie nor do I plan on watching it. I don't watch art films. I am just trolling. You guys can carry on. lol..
