Vivek is a good actor.. He could have turned out to be a star only if that certain incident and certain people didn't happen in his life

Thats true...VO is a 100 times better than some of the ruling superstars...but it is India and its always the victim who suffers...people make fun of him for apologizing...but they forget that he was not a Kapoor or Bachchan or Khan...and he had to survive in BW...Only in India can people laugh at a victim apologising to save himself🥱

He is repeating translated lines.

I don't get the big deal except he is a Bollywood actor.

If it was an unknown voice translator whose done many other movies would there even be an article

I don't laugh at him, but I still wish he hadn't apologized. The damage was already done at that point. Also, I don't think he was lying about what Salman had done either. I hope he can still have a good career. He won't be a superstar, but he's a really good actor and can carve a niche for himself and can still have a respectable career. I'd love to see him in more roles like Saathiya where he plays a romantic character.

Even i wish he hadn't apologized...but i can empathize with him and see why he did what he did...Maybe he had thought that apologizing might help put his career back on track...that didn't happen...but he had no way of knowing it when he apologized...I really feel sorry for him...don't ever take panga with the rich and powerful in India🥱...and yes I also believe what he said.

I find it very interesting that the Indian culture perceives stranding up for oneself and saying sorry as damaging, the same concept could be considered as heroic and inspirational. I think this reflects the identity of Asian cultures in general. We dwell on the past, forgo the right choice in the fear of society judgements and then forever stigmatised for the choices we make. No wonder people love to live in the west, where mistakes and the past are part of human development.
