Bollywood's copycat posters
The poster of 'Ek Villain' seems to have been copied from 'Step Up'
Call it inspiration or copying, but this is no secret that Bollywood movie posters have found the said 'inspiration' from Hollywood in numerous occasions. And every time you visit the poster archive, you will stumble upon some uncannily resembling posters. Now, we don't want to claim that they have been copied, we leave that on to you. Here are the few recent ones.

Krrish 3 - Hulk India's only super hero is seen standing in the shadows of his counterpart in Krrish 3 poster. Interestingly we also found Hulk in very much the same game of shadows in the 2003 released film by the same name.

Bhaag Milka Bhaag - Ghost Rider Farhan Akhtar set the tracks on fire in the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, and so was Nicolas Cage when he rode the bike in Ghost Rider. Burning the track in two different styles, the posters of their respective films on fire look so very similar.

Happy New Year - Cash Happy New Year has been in the news for various reasons, even before its first look even came into the public domain. And when it did, the talks of too much similarities with another Bollywood movie Cash came up. Well that doesn't happen too often.

Creature - Jeepers Creepers We have only got a sneak peak into the poster of this Bipasha Basu 3D horror film Creature till now. But, unfortunately, that too has turned out to be resembling a lot like the 2001 film Jeepers Creepers.

Ek Villain - Step Up The latest to join the poster war is the Shraddha Kapoor - Siddharth Malhotra film Ek Villain which seems to have got the rumours churning of carrying a striking resemblance with the 2006 Hollywood flick Step Up.

O Teri - The Other Guys Pulkit Samrat and Bilal Amrohi are seen fly kicking in O Teri poster, just as Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell in The Other Guys. The props might be different, but rest seems to match quite a lot.

Bajatey Raho, Moonrise Kingdom, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas It was the poster of Chetna (1970), starring Rehana Sultana that sparked off this trend. Ten years later, the same look was found in the Hollywood flick For Your EyesOnly (1981) and now in the upcoming film Mastram.

If entire plots can be lifted then posters are no biggie for Bollywood.

Bollywood, as usual, is very unoriginal... Very few of their movies are originally their ideas... They either remake South films or try to copy or remake Hollywood content... Originality has been lacking in Bollywood for the past decade ... It's either a South remake, a Hollywood steal, or a mindless masala these days...

films are copied
music copied hence they
dont bother having original posters.
its sad bec there are creative and talented
ppl who are not getting chance to work
for films in such departments
most publicity designs and marketing sectors
have same bunch of ppl working,
they dont hire new ppl easily.
