Jude Law is pretty nice and normal'

Nargis Fakhri has just returned to India after wrapping up the first schedule of her Hollywood film, Spy. Directed by Paul Feig, the film co-stars Jason Statham, Melissa McCarthy and Jude Law.
So did she meet The Jude Law? That draws a laugh, "Yes, I met Jude and a couple of other actors too. He's pretty nice and normal, and Melissa, who's playing the lead, is really funny."
There are no signs of awe and intimidation. For "always chilled out" Nargis, these Hollywood A-listers were "regular people" and the "energy on the sets was great". She admits that though action-packed, her role is a small one and she accepted it simply to experience a filmmaking style different from that of Bollywood.
The punctuality almost spooked her, as a five- minute delay for an 8.45 am pick up time was met with an urgent 'where-are-you?' phone call. "The discipline there is awesome. Everything is so organised and so different from the way we work here," the actress points out, quickly adding that despite everything, she loves Bollywood and wants to work here.
But apparently she's rubbed some people the wrong way and the list includes Akshay Kumar. Reportedly, the actor got miffed with her when she dropped out of his Shaukeen remake, at the last hour to do this Hollywood project.
"Really?" she asks. "I have no idea how Akshay feels since I've never spoken to him. I really tried to accommodate Shaukeen but there were date issues. I had to make a decision. It's my life so I should be the one to decide what to do with it," she adds.
But, even her Main Tera Hero team, including co-star Varun Dhawan, was upset when she dropped out of the promotions. "I was only away for a couple of days and now I'm back to join them," she protests.
Hasn't she frittered away the advantage of the performance oriented Madras Cafe by doing songand-dance numbers and playing second fiddle to Ileana D'ruz? "The praise I got for Madras Cafe was wonderful. At least people acknowledged that I can act. But all three of my films are with different directors and in different genres. Also, the songand-dance number I did has become very popular."
So what next? "I don't know, I'm a bit slow," she laughs. Isn't she with Uday Chopra, who got her the Hollywood film? "He didn't. The film has nothing to do with his banner," she retorts.
So, is marriage on the cards? "I don't believe in marriage but then again, I'm the kind of girl who wants to try out everything. So who knows? But it's definitely not happening any time soon."
