The team of Fan was scouting for locations for the film and they have zeroed in on Dubrovnik, Croatia as one of the shooting spots.

"A high energy action sequence for Fan will be shot in Dubrovnik. The local Croatian crew along with the YRF team from Mumbai met months in advance to meticulously plan this sequence to be shot with Shah Rukh Khan," said spokesperson of the film said in a statement.

The action sequence is an integral part of the film. Hence the team met up months before the actual shoot is supposed to take place, to meticulously plan this sequence for Shah Rukh.

Director Maneesh Sharma discussed the sequence with acclaimed action director Seayoung Oh and DOP Manu Anand. The 48-year-old actor, with one of the greatest fan following globally, will now play the role of being the biggest fan himself in the forthcoming movie.

The character of Shah Rukh Khan will be seen wearing leather jackets, t shirts, denims,chinos, shirts, cargoes, bags, and shoes from extreme high end brands. Shah Rukh Khan has already said in an interview few months back that he will play a character from Delhi and the script is extremely close to his heart. Shah Rukh Khan will be seen doing some breath taking stunts in Fan and the movie will be extensively shot in some never seen before locales across the globe.

There were rumors in the trade that Shah Rukh Khan is playing a superstar in the film and there is no big female lead in this film. The initial shooting might start in August end or might be postponed till Happy New Year. We will update you when we get a confirmed report on this part.
