Was Aadesh Srivastava talking about Arijit Singh?

I heard that this young singer who has recently sung a lot of Bollywood hits, was locked in a room and forcibly made to sign a contract against sharing royalties by a music company. Nahi karta toh usko bhi ban kar dete. I also heard that now he is so disturbed that he is shifting base to Kolkata and giving up music.



Why do I say this? Well Arijit was supporting Sonu and the rest of the signers against T-Series, but now all of his songs in Yaariyan, Main Tera Hero, Heartless and recently 2 States are released as they are by T-Series. Sonu's songs in Heartless and MTH were dubbed, then why were Arijit's spared? Well because he probably signed the contract. Willingly or unwillingly who knows.

Another thing that points towards Arijit is the shift to Kolkata, as Arijit is big in the Bengali music industry already. He ignored Divya Khosla Kumar (TSeries head's wife I think) when she along with Ila Arun presented him with the Male Playback Singer Award at Radio Mirchi.

Oh well, I hope not. He's like my favorite singer in Bollywood right now, he can't go! If it is him though, I doubt he'll stop singing for Bollywood because he's getting work like never before right now. Plus if not anyone else, he does have Pritam beside him, who Arijit assists. 😛

Such a shame, irrespective of who the singer is.
