Aishwarya seems to be the best and first choice here.Reports from last year say that she was approached for this film opposite Hrithik.

Hope it turns out to be true!!!Ash-Hrithik are MAGICKKK
They are best onscreen couple for me.

Aishwarya has lost lots of weight lately.I am sure she is working out and gearing up for her return.
Her film with Mani Ratnam is almost confirmed,so hope she signs this film too.Would be EPIC to see the Jodhaa Akbar team re-unite.

Hrithik Roshan has signed Ashutosh Gowarikar's next film titled Mohanjodaro. After announcing the news of partying ways with one of the most awaited upcoming films Shuddhi with a heavy heart, Hrithik now has a reason to smile. It is a period film with a backdrop of a love story.

The sources close to Hrithik reveal, "Hrithik is very happy nowadays. He has signed Ashutosh Gowarikar's film. Yes, the superstar will play the leading man of Ashu's next which is a period film."

Ashutosh too is thrilled about signing Hrithik as he has been behind the actor for a long time for the same film. It was because of Shuddhi and Bang Bang, Hrithik was unable to give dates to Ashutosh. Now, that Hrithik has opted out of Shuddhi because of health issues, he has all the time for Ashutosh.

The film titled Mohanjodaro is primarily a period film but, the makers are also, touting it as a love story. The leading lady of the film is yet to be finalized who too will be big name.

Hrithik and Ashutosh have in the past too worked together for a period film titled Jodhaa Akhbar which starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the female lead. The film worked wonders at the box-office and was also, critically acclaimed.

Coming back to Mohanjodaro, it will go on the floors as soon as Hrithik wraps up Bang Bang where, he is paired opposite Katrina Kaif.

Ashutosh interestingly, will bring technicians from Hollywood to make it a grand.

Sidenote, is this what Hrithik meant when he commented foul play on K3 BO and so-called father-son fued.. " I found those who i consider my frnds r really not my frnds.." Srk was one of them.. cud Kjo be another? Rampal-fampal.. who cares..

If Hr can say NO to megabudet Shudhu coz for a break.. and he accepts even bigger project with Ashu.. Thats a big slap on Kjo's face.

Mohenjo-daro.. and Harappa.. few of oldest civilizations.. wow..
