Ekta tried to hook me up with Tushar: Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar have been busy promoting their upcoming film at events and TV shows. And the most common questions that the duo is fielding are about their tips on happy relationships.

Recently, at an in-house interaction in Delhi, Vidya shocked everyone present when she disclosed that producer Ekta Kapoor had tried to set her up with her brother, actor Tusshar Kapoor. "When I was doing Hum Paanch (the 1995 comedy TV show), Ekta wanted me to become Mrs Kapoor... she tried very hard to hook me up with (Ekta's brother) Tusshar," said Vidya. As she and Farhan laughed about this old joke, Ekta was quick to point out, "But you did become Mrs Kapur, though a different one." Vidya got married to Siddharth Roy Kapur in 2012.

When Vidya was asked how bored she was, on a scale of one to 10, about answering questions on marriage and the rumours that she is expecting her first child, the 36-year-old actor laughed and replied, "Fifty-eight! I mean I am okay with being asked how it is to be married. But that question about the baby, more than boring me, scares me because I am just not prepared for a baby right now." When asked if Farhan shares any tips on parenting with his co-star, he replied, "I am not her parent," while adding, "Unsolicited advice is the worst thing in the world. Never give it."
