Shuddhi to begin soon !!!

There have been speculations galore and evweryone outside of the Dharma office has been contemplating about the humongous mythological project that Karan Johar has undertaken. But, we managed to sneak in a peek to the making of the film. Here's what we found.

Hrithik Roshan is playing the role of Devdutt/Moti Singh and Kareena is Naintara/Aparna. Pankaj Kapur has been finalized to play the negative role of the older Raakha while the young one is being played by Sumit Gulati. While it is evident that the lead pair has two avatars in the film and the villain grows old, we can only speculate the plot. A rebirth story, maybe?

Besides these the cast also includes Ashutosh Rana, Navni Parihar, Akhil Mishra, Arun Verma, Amitabh Shrivastav, Ajinkya Deo, Arijit Dutta, Mohan Maharishi and Girish Karnad. The film is being directed by Karan Malhotra.

Though the makers of the film have denied that Shuddhi is the film that is based on Amish Tripathi's The Immortals Of Meluha, that Dharma Productions have bought the rights for, the working poster of the film suggested otherwise. The image is that of Ardhnareshwar, that is a merged form of Lord Shiva and his better divine half Parvati.

The shoot is slated to commence soon in Bhopal.
