I'm not a Salman fan anymore, but really we won't need fans wars and stuff. A flop ain't going to hurt Salman's reputation as an actor. He's already made himself a big name and his fans will love him regardless and will go out to see his movie regardless of what reviews or critics say.
Lately I've been seeing so much hate towards Salman because his film didn't do as well as the other Khan films have done. But come on man. People need to stop being so childish. Salman still has his star power. There can be many reasons to a movie's flop. Bad acting. Bad characters. Bad actors/actresses. Bad music. Bad story. Basically anything you name. But that doesn't define Salman. Chennai Express was a super hit movie, but I can still say that countless number of people hated that movie with a passion. But that doesn't take away the star power of Shahrukh or Deepika. It is what it is.

(Just for the record for anyone who doesn't know already, I am a hardcore SHAHRUKH fan and can't stand the likes of Salman, but seriously guys its just a damn movie and a movie that didn't do well for Salman. Salman has had flops before. One recent flop doesn't define him or 'kick' him out of the industry).

Respect for this post 😊 I wish there were more fans in this forum like you.
But jai ho is not a flop. It performed really well on sunday and Monday and as it perform well on Monday it will do good business for rest of the week too, it might not break d3 records but it will be a superhit or blockbuster

Actually I haven't even watched the film. So don't judge someone before knowing facts. And I'm pretty sure I won't like the film anyways, but unfair for me to make a call before seeing it.

Thanks CPR
I appreciate what you just said, But again... Jai Ho isn't a flop. It's collections are similar to Salman's previous films. Movie has made around 70cr and it hasn't crashed. It will indeed make 100cr but sadly it is an under performer by Salman. Just like SRK has JTHJ, Ra.One and Don 2. If it has or has not affected his stardom, we will know by the release of Kick which belongs to much bigger production house, more popular heroine, bigger star cast and rather more commercially appealing as it targets both multiplexes and single screens. I've seen Jai Ho. I being a Salman fan loved it. Not coz it had him in it. But just overall. Salman was excellent in it. This film was rather MUCH better than what we've seen earlier from him, like Dabngg 2, Ready and Bodyguard. People thrash Jai Ho coz of the OTT action, unappealing music, heroine and star cast. But honestly this film has much more than that.
Till then Jai Ho

Whatever would be outcome of the movie, IMO, it's same repetitive movie of Salman Khan. Same old funda of one man beating hundred people. No story, bad direction, hoards of unnecessary characters forced upon the viewers. Even the social message sounds annoying when same dialogue is repeated every 5 minutes.

Even if it is a flop, it really don't matter because sometimes, in order to "leap" ahead one must walk back a couple step .. I hope in the future his movie will do good at BO..
