Let me make this clear first: I was not too impressed by Ram Leela and found it more of a lust story than a love story. It was below average. In fact the worst SLB film after Saawariya. The movie felt hollow, superficial and soulless. The only good thing about the movie that I thoroughly enjoyed was the song and dance.
Acting wise Supriya was good, Deepika was average; she still has to improve her dialogue delivery and diction.
However, one actor who really impressed me was Ranveer.
First Lootera and now this. He had a fab year.
Ranbir had a mixed bag this year. One hit YJHD and one flop Besharam. But acting wise neither was great shakes.
So do you think if Ranbir was offered Ram Leela, would he have done justice to Ram like Ranveer did? Could he have brought in the raw energy, rustic feeling and owned the film like Ranveer did?
