i watched it in cinema and ppl loved the film
they were hooting when deepika entry shown in holi sequence.
few who hated the movie hated it a lot for old fashioned story and kisses
those who loved came out praising many aspects.
ranveer always was a good actor he only lacked commercial success which he getting finally
and deepika finally getting much deserved credit for stardom and acting which people were unwilling to give her before.

Absolutely. And it's not just me, but everyone in the movie theatre were saying the same thing. Ranveer literally carried the movie. He has the vaguely Salman-ish aura about him. With much, much better acting skills. Deepika's acting was better in CE, in my opinion. She was nice, but SLB himself centred his movie around Ranveer. 😉 And as a neutral viewer, and a person who disliked Ranveer till that time, I was hooked. He was the saving grace.
