Shahid Kapoor's latest movie titled "Phata Poster Nikla Hero" fails at Box Office as the budget of the movie was 35 Cr. and it collected 40 Cr. Net in India. In Overseas also movie was not able to live up to the expectation as the movie collected just 10.5 Cr. Total Worldwide gross of the movie is 62.5 Cr. and by having the budget of 35 Crore, the Distributor's share would be 26 Crore which is less then the budget, hence the makers, distributors and exhibitors will go in loss by the movie. Shahid Kapoor right now is going through the worst face of his carrier as he has given four back to back flops which were Milenge Milenge, Mausam, Teri Meri Kahaani and now Phata Poster Nikla Hero. In all the movies Shahid Kapoor was praised for his acting and performance, especially in Mausam were he was a pilot and he even learnt how to ride an aeroplane, but the only thing lacked was the performance of the directors of his last four movies. In the movie Milenge Milenge, director Satish Kaushik's work was not upto the mark whereas acting of Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan was loved by many. Same thing in the movies Mausam, Teri Meri Kahaani and Phata Poster Nikla Hero, director Pankaj Kapoor, Kunal Kohli and Rajkumar Santoshi's work was poor but Shahid was still loved by all.

Reasons why Phata Poster Nikla Hero failed at Box-Office - The only reason for the movie to fail was the content of the movie, the movie got mixed to negative reviews from critics as well as audience, many people found it less entertaining and were choosing to go for Grand Masti which emerged as the fifth 100 Cr. movie of 2013. The only thing most of the people loved was the acting of Shahid Kapoor who did a brilliant job as Vishwas Rao and this is the only reason why the movie has collected 40 Cr. Phata Poster Nikla Hero had all the elements to be a superhit movie as the movie's songs were superhit, the movie was an action-comedy and a family audience movie and such a movie's collections are more then any other type of movie for example this year only we saw Chennai Express which was a action-comedy and for family audience which collected 228 Cr. in India. By having all the elements to be a superhit movie, still Rajkumar Santoshi's magic didn't work this time.

Will R..Rajkumar be a turnover for Shahid Kapoor? - Prabhu Deva is back again with an action-comedy-romance genre movie titled "R...Rajkumar". First of all for those who don't know, the movie's name was first titled "Rambo Rajkumar" but the makers of the Hollywood movie Rambo filed an copyright issue for the movie by using their movie's name in a Bollywood movie, so the makers of Rambo Rajkumar had to change the name so the new title was kept as "R...Rajkumar". R...Rajkumar is scheduled to release on 6th December 2013 and the buzz of the movie is growing very fast, the trailer of the movie got 42,000+ likes which are more then Shahrukh Khan's Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Chennai Express and Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger and Dabbang 2. The buzz of the movie will be so strong by the release of the movie that if the content is good and entertaining then this movie can be Shahid Kapoor's first 100 Cr. movie and as the movie will get 13 days free run because Dhoom 3 will release on 20th December and no big movies releasing between 6th December 2013 to 19th December 2013, we can say that this movie will get enough days to cross 100 Cr. mark.
