Rant away Bolly members, rant away. As long as the posts do not passive aggressively target fans, fan groups, rant away. When the rant circumvents more around fans, and less around stars, it's a problem.

Regarding the same treatment: that's asking for too much on this forum. Whichever stars are well received on the forum, their fans get preferential treatment...the same cannot be said for stars that are not preferred by the most. Also Bolly forum is not where EVERY star is bashed equally (though we all claim 😆 ).. Our forum is like any other forum with certain stars, fans, groups targeted.

But that is what Dex is asking.
Why are members advised to not even enter if you cant handle a rant?

It's wise to not enter, true. I dont.

But when you open threads like this, you CAN potentially instigate fangroups.

It's just fortunate that normally Kareena and Kat fans choose to stay out of it coz they dont want trouble. But I can see this easily escalating into something

ESPECIALLY if you term an entire fangroup in there and use words like, "We Kareena fans" will do this or that.

The fuss is not about people not liking Bri's rants...but it is about people asking her to ignore Kareena topics and not rant about it...See in ur first post ...u just said that u found the rants boring...but u didn't ask her not to rant...u said ..carry on😆...right?? You didn't ask her to stop which is absolutely fine? Now the problem people are having is why can't Bri express her views on this forum even if its in a rant form...

Dex is saying "I can like or dislike the rant and say it" which is fine. That means you have the capacity to handle it. What is not fine is asking the ranter to move away to another place/not post at all.

I find it ironic that we're being asked not to open these threads but last year when Salman fans* were creating threads about JTHJ I didn't see SRK fans staying out of it.

It is easier to say stay out of it. I don't see the point of these threads. Every year it is the same story. These threads are created and in the end fans get labeled. All fans argue that they get targeted but in this forum Kareena and Katrina fans are targeted the most. Earlier this year it was Ranveer but post Lootera that has changed. Hell even I have been guilty of targeting fans but sometimes it just crosses the line. You don't always have a lot of support and if someone supports you then they are automatically a fan.

* - Not targeting them. It was just an example.

Does that mean read it and just go "haha, funny" and move on without conflict? Coz in that case...that's a fanclub.

What if someone reads it and decides they dislike what she said. Where do you think it's going to go from there?

It's the same philosophy.

Asking Brihna to ignore Kareena threads and not post her rants is the same as asking members to ignore her rants if they dont like it.

Either way, it spirals down to conflicts. There's a reason IF has those rules against celeb bashing, etc etc. Not like the mods have any attachment to celebs. They just wanna prevent trouble.

And again, there's a reason there is a distinction between celeb BASHING and CRITICISM.

Criticism is allowed. It's how you phrase yourself that makes the differences.

got up , humming dil duffer song...

got ready for breaky..then logged on IF for my dose - time to inject.

now guess what...4 to 5 topics hanging on bebola...kareena this, kareena that, kareena -and most of these news are bloody 1 yr oldy...say bebola sacked from ram leela..phir seh?

my badan became itchy, khujli aane lagi...i needed to inject ASAP. i didn't have time to reply in each and every bakwaas topic of bebola. i would have been dead by then.

complied all garbage together, created one ghissa pitta, BUT solid topic, applied my ATTENTION SEEKER skills phull on ..chippka diya IF keh front page parr.

in mins i see the rest of so called positive topics gayab from front page and kabooom.
