Even if you don't believe BOI, other trade analysts like Amul Mohan, etc. gave lower figures on Twitter and then augmented them after Rakesh called them up. All the lower figures tweets magically disappeared. I hope Krrish 3 continues doing well...but the weekend tactics of the Roshans were VERY cheap. 🤢

Couldn't hear half the dialouges! It was madness!😆

But it was a clean film, thank god! The last thing you want is your 9-10 year old kid watching something objectionable and then asking you questions about it!🤔

But you know, some of my friend's younger kids have been getting nightmares after watching VO playing Kaal in the film!😆 I am not kidding...they have been getting up at midnight yelling and shouting! Lolz...poor Vivek!

Actually, a lot of the younger kids (matlab in the 4-7 year old range) must have been scared...because for them, there was enough violence in the film...and plus, VO looked freaky in it! I mean, I found him funny, but I am sure, he must have scared the living daylights out of small kids with that get-up of his!

I wasn't present, but I was present on Twitter when he tweeted K3 Friday collections on Saturday afternoon, where all the final figures from Friday were already calculated. And then a couple of hours later he deleted that tweet and tweeted the same collection figure that Taran had.

Oh, and BOI always reports lower figures, but this time it was a freaking 20 CR difference, which is HUGE.

But anyway, I've never underestimated Hrithik and I always thought that K3 would do well, it's just sad that the Roshans had to resort to arm-twisting to improve their BO figures for the weekend. As Monday showed, they didn't need to do that and they had to have faith in their own product.

Its very distracting watching films with kids...they react to every thing that comes on-screen! Whether it is Krrish flying over Mumbai or landing a punch on Kaal's face...there was massive amount of cheering and hooting! The only times they were quiet and dull was when the songs came!😆

PS: I sort of snoozed off through the film, but woke with a start, everytime Krrish did something heroic and the hall erupted with noise!😆I am never going to watch a Baccha's film from now, at least not in a theatre! Total waste of money, if you can't even see it properly!

PPS: If I am not wrong, Krrish merchandise is available in India already! I think you might get it in Reliance Stores!

I actually confirmed with DB and Mostly Harmless on the Krrish thread before booking the tickets!😆 He assured me that it was totally clean and targetted towards kids, so no problem in watching it.

Hrithik actually came to my son's school in Singapore last month, where he met HR...that is how he got after my life to take him for the film, otherwise, he doesn't even understand hindi properly!

HR spoke very nicely to the kids and shook hands with them. I have the video, but can't share it here, because it is on the school website and cannot be copied.

PS: Btw, I had met HR at SPA 2011 also...met, as in, waved across to him...there was too much security around him, plus the TV actors were going ga-ga over him as much as the audience!

I saw it on Friday at GV Katong...the theatre was chockoblock with kids of all size and shape, yelling...Krrish aaya...Krrish aaya!😆

Its doing fabulous business in Singapore! Last hindi film to do so well was CE...but then SRK films always do well in foreign markets!
