Everyone is criticized for one thing or another,so why this cry if someone says anything about Sonakshi. No one is denying she is a very good actress anyways and looks gorgeous. If fans have no problem hearing all the praises for Lootera and her acting, then there should be no problem in pointing out hypocrisy in her statements too.

theres nothing wrong with calling out her on it and what not I don't care what you think of her - I have a problem with the way she's bashed like they've been worse things that some actors/actresses have done but they're not bashed as much as she is when other actresses have made stupider statements than she has (take PC in that "amazingly stupid" topic) but whatever suits your boat

And I agree with Nick I don't see how her coming out of the water equals to anything with TDP all she did is coming put of the water she isn't emulating Vidya in that scene at all so I don't even see where that comparison comes on 😕

english teacher it was not my intention so stop accusing me of false things. Sona is one of my fave actors n i saw some certain fangroup of bashers so gave my opinion but dont accuse me of false things get it in ur mind😉

I think it's fine to point out hypocripsy--like DJV said we do that all the time here. And I generally agree with that you say. But she seems geniune in most of her interviews that a part of me thinks she isn't using the right words. Like I don't think her intent is to belittle others; I just think she knows her parents/family wouldn't approve but can't really say that so used her dad's "standing in society" as an excuse. I guess you can read either way but Sona doesn't usually sound arrogant or pretentious. Either way, everyone has a personal penchant towards certain celebs and hence we excuse certain behavior we normally wouldn't. I don't really have issues people calling out Sona's hypocripsy but BW runs rife with hypocripsy--it's like everywhere. 😆

My only thing was about the weight comments. She's struggled with her body and it's pretty evident by the way she now jokes about it or others do (Karan on KWK) so there's nothing wrong in her owning up to her weight and feeling confident about it. Like I said, more and more actresses are okay with a full figures post-Vidya.

Lol PC is bashed like anything for her Plastic Surgery/SRK affair(Without Proof)/ Fake accent/ Her styling/ her wannabe attitude/ Her music video etc and you say she isnt bashed enough. Maybe if you ask PC's fans they will say she is bashed like anything. Happens with every fan group.

When I saw her coming out of water scene,I was reminded of Oh lala song and her recent interview where she said she won't do anything remotely like TDP. N the same moment I posted ,by co-incidence even Mrs Malhotra did,so maybe it wasn't just me who thought so.

When Sona looks beautiful,I'm the first one to say so but if I feel she looks fat,why shouldn't I?? I praised her performance,beauty etc many a times but I have also said she looked horrible with Ajay Devgan Popo etc.

N then the remark from a Sona fan,that we are grouping together to bash Sona was so uncalled for.But thats BS. We can't even point out anything without ppl branding us rival actresses fans which we aren't. 🤪 Its best to ignore those ppl.

Even if Sonakshi loses weight she will still look big because she has a large bone structure, that cannot be helped.

I really wish actors/actresses would stop saying "I would never". It's way too easy to spout out and even easier to eat one's words. I don't get what it proves anyway and always smacks of a superiority complex, intentional or not.

Personally I think a wet sari clinging to every curve is far more titillating than a mini-skirt or a kiss onscreen. It's deliberately provocative and a classic case of appealing to the lowest common denominator while dressing it up as "classy". Ha!

It's not Sonakshi's weight that irks me, it's the holier than thou attitude that is very quickly peeled away when push comes to shove.
