i don't mind Alia in this movie ,may be she has improved in acting. bachchi ko chance milna chahiye.

Not even Kashyap, The name of Kashyap's movie is Ugly; not Ungli. Ungli is K-Jo's production directed by Rensil D'Silva. & if I'm not wrong it's Shraddha who is (reluctantly) doing an item song in Ungli.

The actress may star opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Anurag Basu's upcoming detective thriller.

Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu's Picture Shuru Productions is all set to put their first venture, Jagga Jasoos, on floors and the buzz is that Alia Bhatt might have landed a role in the detective thriller. The twoheroine film has Ranbir playing the protagonist. The hunt for the second actress is still on.

A source told Mirror, "Anurag is busy with the script of the film and he is leaving no stone unturned to perfect the draft. In the middle of all this, he has met Alia and spoke to her about the film. The makers feel that she will be just apt for the role."

Alia has almost wrapped up the shooting of Imtiaz Ali's Highwayand is busy completing Sajid Nadiadwala and Karan Johar's 2 States.

A source close to the actress said: "Alia doesn't want to let go off this opportunity. After all, Anurag is one of the highest paid and most sought after directors today."

Meanwhile...

Alia's SOTY co-star Varun Dhawan has bagged a role in Mohit Suri's next. A source told Mirror, "Mohit and Varun have been meeting each other for quite some time over this project. The film will go on floors in the first half of next year. However, the heroine is yet to be finalised."

Mirror had earlier reported that the third of the SOTY trio, Siddharth Malhotra has already signed a film with Shraddha Kapoor. Tentatively titled Villain, it will be directed by Mohit for Balaji Telefilms. The director has also signed Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan for a film under the Vishesh banner.
