You've been complimenting Rani a lot in your interviews, was Karan instrumental in helping you'll bury the hatchet?
"There was never a problem with Rani, it was only media-generated. I want to say this for the last time that I have a lot of respect for Rani as an actor because she is a good actor. Rani and I were never best friends; we never claimed to be best friends. The media made us best friends, and they made us worst enemies. I don't understand these games. Rani and I are co-stars with a great working rapport, and we're lucky for each other too. But off the sets I don't think anyone has seen us together. I don't go to her house; neither does she come to my house. We don't party together. Rani doesn't like partying; she's more of a home person. We have nothing in common, whether it's our backgrounds or our personalities. The only people I hang out with in this industry are Gauri - SRK, Hirthik-Suzzane, Karan, Abhi, Bobby-Tanya, Ritiesh, Fardeen-Natashaa. Tell me one occasion when Rani and I were spotted together? Then how could people assert that we were best friends? There is no friendship gone sour, hence, people should stop looking into it. Its all frivolous media reports that has become the center of speculation. The papers have only published stories about fights on the sets of KANK, give us a break, we are sensible adults, and we don't need to have these stupid fights to promote our film."
With such a big star cast, weren't you intimidated or insecure at any point? "Do I look kind to get intimidated? I am in awe of only one person - Mr. Bachchan. SRK is someone I really adore; he'll always been King Khan to me. I did my fourth film with Rani, and Abhishek is a buddy, my fellow Aquarian. I don't know why I should be in awe of anybody; maybe other people were in awe of me. Just kidding! Maybe if we had a newcomer on the sets, he'd have an awe-factor." You have the reputation of being the chatty one, but apparently Abhishek can out-chatter you. Is that possible? "Yes, but now I won't let that happen ever again. He's check-mated me a couple of times. I absolutely adore him; I keenly looking forward to Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. There are three kinds of Aquarians in the film, Bobby Deol, AB and me, and we're similar in so many ways. We have these conversations that hop from one topic to another so fast that no one can keep pace with us. I did one of my first films with Bobby, I feel emotionally attached to Bobby. He's a wonderful human being. And I can tell Abhishek is someone I can talk to about anything." You and jadoo were sorely missed in Krrish. Did you miss yourself too? "Well, since its sequel I couldn't be in the film, but I made sure I've put all my positive energy in that one-minute. I'm close to the film, Duggu and Rakesh sir. My entire career I've have fought for that one child I wanted to bring in to the world. From Kya Kehna to Salaam Namaste, I fought for my little baby, if I wouldn't have given birth to it; the world wouldn't have ever seen Krrish. I am proud of my son is powerful son. Ha, ha, ha!"
