Does anyone else miss the Rani-Preity-Aishwarya era?

I miss the combination of these top-3 actress, they all stood for different kinds of cinema and represented different things.

Rani with her hard-hitting cinema with iconic roles in movies like Black, Preity with her light-hearted care-free bindas roles and Aishwarya for her experimentation with different roles.

I really miss that competition, because it was hard to choose one, they were all good in their own way and had their own individual audiences.

The level and standard of competition was so much higher.

I always thought these three would be like the Khans, and be around forever, but its just sad Rani and Aishwarya could still possibly do it, but I am sure Preity is done and gone forever.

actually rani-preity were in top for only few years , so there is no era (at-least for me )
ash enjoyed top spot despite giving flops ...thanks to off screen drama !
where as rani was in roll from 2002-2006 and preity from2003-2006
from 2007 they are completely forgotten !

preity just lasted 2003-2004 as a top actress

rani had 2004-2005

and aish was never consistent to begin with

As much i love preity she just was at the top for fewyrs only. Rani have few yrs at top. Only aish remained at top for yrs. Their dominance was never like kat n kareena

Preity's peak in her career was 2003-2005, and Rani's was 2004-2007. Aishwarya's peak was from 1999-2003, but they all still remained to be on top until about 2008.

Aishwarya actually is still included in many top 10 actress lists, its just the fact that she is not working. But to be in that last, with NO WORK, is a huge thing.

I loved all of them and still do. They were wonderful. Aish & Rani will be active and even if they aren't part of the rat race anymore I'm sure we will see them in good roles in future too. But sadly Preity got lost.. And the surgeries made everything worse.. 😒 I still love her and hope she manages to stay in the industry, even if she's doing short roles.

by 2007 kareena,katrina,priyanka started ruling !
in fact the only hit film for rani -preity in 2006 is KANK
and if u ask me they never enjoyed madhuri kind of popularity nor kareena-katrina popularity
its like they had hits and are floating in the industry !
about ash i agree ...she was popular even after getting married !

I don't think Kareena was or is more successful than Rani. Preity- yeah maybe, but def not Rani.

Kareena isn't an icon, whereas Rani Is. And Kareena doesn't have the strong body of work behind her like Rani does.

I don't remember such an era! And no I don't miss that era... I m satisfied with Kareena-Priyanka-Katrina era

I used to love PZ and Ash and still love them!

Rani not sure, I really liked her during the Chalte Chalte/Hum tum days but not any more🤓.

But ya i agree with you they did rule quite some period in Bolly if not an Era, Rani vs PZ, Rani Vs Ash clashes used to go on, But Ash has emerged as a clear winner, she is been in the game for pretty long! Even without movies she is still remembered, there is an aura around her. She is still the Brand Ambassador of L'Oreal Paris an International Brand and still represents our country on a Global platform. She surely deserves credentials for that.
