This is true. And well deserved. Sonakshi is one of the most talented ladies out there today. And easily surpasses Katrina's acting abilities from her first film. I can't wait to watch Lootera!

This award is basically a "Welcome to the job, beta" gesture for Star Kids.

Looking at the Female category, the story is quite similar, although the results not as garish. The disparaging factors are due to less girls from film backgrounds going into films, compared with their male counterparts. Although there have been several actresses from filmi-families to have been gifted the trophy, namely Pooja Bhatt (1991), Raveena Tandon (1992), Twinkle Khanna (1996), Kareena Kapoor (2001), Esha Deol (2003), Sonakshi Sinha (2011), Parineeti Chopra (2012)
