It's Arjun rampal vs Siddharth malhotra

There was a time when actors would scramble to bag the hero role. Today being the "villain" seems to be a more coveted battle. While Ekta Kapoor had announced The Villain with Sidharth Malhotra back in February, it now appears that actor Arjun Rampal had his eyes on this title all along. Arjun had reserved this title a while back and is now planning to get work on the film.

"That's right," confirms a source, "As he was busy wrapping up work on D-Day and Satyagraha, there was no news of him beginning work on it." However, Balaji Films is going ahead with their plans to start shooting The Villain this August once director Mohit Suri is back from vacation. They don't seem to be budging from the title race either. When contacted, Balaji officials were unavailable for comment.
Arjun, on the other hand, sounded excited. "Yes my film is called Villain and we're all set to get started."
