She even slighted Shahid on the sets of Mausam for not dressing up and for wearing slippers...

She wears anything off the ramp not even thinking if it suits her or not...And now shez just losing it which can be seen from this pic..

Slave to fashion?? You say it like it's a bad thing and even if she was, you do know fashion is a billion dollar industry so she's not the only slave to fashion...

She loves fashion yes and the media has given her the whole fashionista tag and now everyone thinks that's all she's about when it real, if it's up to her, she would wear the randomest things without it being in fashion or not. To Cannes, she wore a Masaba sari when Masaba was almost unheard of...she wore a Alexandar McQueen gown which was something nobody was expecting. She doesn't wear what's on the runway and I should know. I am a huge huge huge huge Victoria Beckham fan and a fan of fashion and I follow the trends very closely and no she doesn't wear what's always in.

To parties and events, EVERY actress wears designer crap (have you ever checked HHC blog???) but nobody gives a damn about them because the media hasn't given them the whole "she's a fashionista" tag...I don't like what she's wearing here but that hardly makes her a slave to fashion seeing Nishika Lulla is not even a proper designer yet and doesn't have any "runway" looks.

And just because you and I don't like ONE look of hers in the past 20 or so looks doesn't mean she's losing it. Hell even Victoria Beckham wears somethings at times which makes me go W*F and she is a well-known and very respected designer with "runway" shows and in your word... a slave to fashion...

I am her fan but I will be the first one to point something out if I don't agree with it. Ask any other Sonam fan that...I am not the one to sugarcoat everything she does.

Katrina is a fashion disaster almost all the times and don't give shit about fashion. She is someone who will repeat her clothes sometimes. SHE HAS NEVER worn a Gucci, Prada, Chanel or Dior gowns offscreen. She doesn't want to use her money on these expensive gowns. She sticks to the average designers who anyone can afford.

Sonam on the other hand wears Burberry, Channel, Dior, Elie Saab at red carpets and at events.

It's first now she has worn a lot of indian attire like Masaba, Manish Malhotra.

Before it was all western expensive clothes and she is obsessed with these brands. If it doesn't have a big brands name on it she won't buy it. She is never simple cause she can't carry simple clothes and it's okay she knows she needs these big brands to stand out.

She is a slave to fashion, period.

why are you denying her fashionista tag? even sonam herself has accepted it and is happy about it and see it as an achievement so I don't get why you trying to deny it.

She is obsessed with big brand labels. She NEVER goes for simple look! she got the fashionista tag because she was the first actress of her generation who did over the top looks like ALWAYS lots of jewelery. Dark make up and very expensive clothes right from the run way.

Really? Sonam told you that? Because she often wears stuff she buys at vintage stores that cost $20 or so. She often wears high street brands and she has repeated her outfits many times. It's another thing, nobody ever repeats their outfits at events or red carpet where they get photographed 57305723032 times. If you know how fashion works, for big events, designers SEND their clothes to celebrities because it gives them exposure.

I saw Katrina Kaif wear a Victoria Beckham dress that costs about $2000 at a launch for a phone just recently so you can't possibly say she doesn't wear any designer crap. Please. But most likely as it is, her stylists arranged for the designer to send her the clothes because that's what usually happens.

Also if you have the money, why not buy the designer stuff? Hell if I could afford it I would surely buy it. That won't make me a slave to fashion...that's what the designer stuff is for and it's very successful too you know.

Never simple? What is simple anyways?

This is full of Katrina wearing Victoria Beckham, Valentino, Manish Malhotra, Annamika Khanna, Roland Mourat, etc etc and I am not counting her magazine covers or what she's wearing in movies. For someone who doesn't care about fashion at all, that's hell of very very hi-fi designers she's wearing. I wonder what will happen if she does care about fashion?

Like I have said before, I love fashion and I have no problem with anyone loving fashion...but don't put Sonam down for being the only one when everyone else wears all these top designers too and nobody is in rags in Bollywood.

And I am not denying Sonam's fashionista tag...that's hell of an achievement in an industry where 95% of the people don't know how to dress when they actually have all the stuff at their disposal. Wearing designer clothes doesn't make you a fashionista...it's how you carry them that does. But I am saying she's not the only one who wears all that designer stuff. EVERYONE in Bollwood does.

Dark makeup? Loads of jewelry? All the time? Sometimes I wonder if I am not a good enough Sonam fan cause I really don't where you get all this info from.

And I am done with this topic.

Really I have never seen her wear that at red carpets or events.

No, some celebrities DO REPEAT CLOTHES AT EVENTS/REDCARPETS. just cause sonam don't, doesn't mean others haven't. Sonam is a fashionista so for her it will be a big no no but for others who not that into fashion it's not the end of the world to repeat a red carpet look 2-3 times.

Katrina has worn Victoria Beckham 2 times or so but Victoria Beckham is not on the same level as Gucci, Prada, Dior or Chanel. Katrina of course wears brands too but she is not into all the expensive ones which Sonam is in too. The thing is sonam is obsessed with big brands.

I am into fahsion myself I am not saying it's a bad thing, but to not have your own style and just run after big brands that's not being stylish and that's what sonam is doing. She is a slave to fashion.

Simple is something sonam never is. It's the opposite of what Sonam is. Simple is not wear accessory, no dramatic hairstyle, no dark make up and don't wear stuff which a normal person won't wear in their daily life. It's her life, she can be a slave to fashion, it's her wish.

Manish Malhotra like seriously?😆 he is the worst indian designer, every tom dick and harry were his attires, every actress wears it. There is nothing cool about him or his clothes, he can't be compared to gucci, dior, channel etc.

I never stated that katrina doesn't wear brands. She indeed does, I stated she is not obsessed with it though.
