Ranbir Kapoor should only be Ranbir Kapoor. He doesn't need to be the next SRK, Aamir or anyone else. He's doing absolutely fine the way he is! He is getting better with every film!

EWW EW EW EW. I choked up on my puke. You are comparing Ranbir to someone that's dirt, like SRK? Arshad, you can go suck it. Ranbir is beyond SRK in terms of acting, in terms of being appreciated by the critics, in terms of having a professional life...and most of all in terms of a personal life. SRK is too busy with his mid life crisis on the other hand. We can only hope when Ranbir is 50, he's not as shallow, fickle, incompetent as SRK.

SRK era? Let me laugh my f**king ass off. If anything in the current generation, there's only been a Salman frenzy, I would not even call that an era. SRK did not stand out, but others definitely stood as tall as he stood, and some even more. Someone like Amitabh is what can be termed timeless, because he stood the test of time. Ranbir, it seems like from the current lot, can very well be remembered for ages to come if he continues to trend on the same path as he is now.

Ranbir is awesome the way he is. Doesn't have to be the next SRK or anything. In terms of acting, he may even go ahead of SRK but popularity wise, he may not reach SRK's level, but definitely near. He'll be the best of his generation for suree!:D I hope he continues to be the way he is onscreen. Off-screen, I'd like him more if he improved himself.

SRK was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth like RK, he struggled to get the title of 'King Khan' and love of billions of people around the world. How can we compare two recent hits of RK with 25 hits SRK has given in two decades ??! Its pathetic !! RK might be a nice actor but can never surpass SRK or Salman or Amir. They are legendary actors. Period.

Just like Dilip Kumar cant be Balraj Sahni, Amitabh bachchan can't be Dilip Kumar, SRK cant be Amitabh Bacchan, similarly RK can NOT be SRK !!

I still think this era is khan era not just Srk era .

Agree or not that's what I feel . Srk didn't have the biggest hit in era that's Aamir . He didn't have most years with biggest hit that's Salman . He had more best actor awards 😆 😆 😆 is that the criteria we are using 😆

Ill admit up until 2007 I always thought Srk was a notch above the other two but 6 years later my view has changed

As for Ranbir he is good actor and hero but he is still lacking in some popularity . Globally and the masses but maybe his next films can do the trick

^Maroon, it's called SRK era because he more or less DOMINATED it. Aamir and Salman were there but it was more about SRK than anyone else, Aamir disappeared for a long time, Salman gave back to back flops- none of them were as consistent as SRK was. Agree or not, srk dominated during his time and that's why it's known as srk era. It is Khan era yes but look at the full 20 years- the other 2 khans were nowhere close to him when it came to consistency.

why next srk! not every one wants to be the next srk- ranbir has his own identity and he already has made it pretty big! lets not insult his work by labelling him as a next srk or anyone else- he is pretty good and in demand being himself and imo he is a better actor and more versatile than srk any day!
