JLo's manager lashes out at SRK

Come IPL and there is already a steaming hot controversy in the air. This war of words is between American singer Jennifer Lopez and our very own badshah Shahrukh Khan. As per earlier reports, JLO was supposed to perform at the IPL 6 opening ceremony. At least that was what SRK planned for, with all vigor and enthusiasm. Apparently, SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment and his IPL team were closely working to make this possible.

However, it turns out that this plan failed and JLO backed out at the last minute. News has it that the singer had too many demands which were not feasible to meet. However, while Jennifer's team expected the deal and its details to remain private, it was somehow leaked out to the media. The singer is extremely upset with this and her manager Medina has shot off an angry mail to a member of Red Chillies Entertainment, alleging that vital and confidential information about the deal was selectively leaked out to the US media. They also claim that this is untrue and that the cancellation was because she was busy recording an album.

A source from Red Chillies mentioned to TOI, "It is true Jennifer cancelled the gig at the last moment because she didn't like the deal. That she asked for a private chartered plane is however not true. Yes, she had asked for exclusive arrangements to be made for her nearly 44 dancers and accompanying staff, which included her entourage of around 20 people. She had asked for a personal chef, stylist, butler, security etc but these are demands that even Bollywood stars make when they perform abroad. Jennifer is extremely upset with the way things have panned out. There is an exchange of mails going on as we speak"

Well, while Red Chillies is still recovering from this incident and trying to pass the buck to SRK's IPL team saying they were the ones who leaked the info, the latest news is that rapper Pitbull has been roped in to replace Jennifer Lopez for the ceremony.
