'I really don't look at films like career decisions because nothing is ever planned for me. If that was the case, I wouldn't have planned two back to back supernatural films. I decide on the basis of gut feeling. It all started with both films being offered to me almost simultaneously. I did them both since they had scope for me to perform and also promised an entertainer in return for the audience,' says Bipasha.
However the fact also remains that she has been central to the affairs in both the outings. While in RAAZ 3, she was the cause of all the mayhem in the lives ofEmraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta, in AATMA Bipasha is fighting the battle to safeguard her daughter from her dead father who has returned to haunt as an'aatma'. It seems quite obvious that it is the lure of featuring in female oriented film that is driving her towards the choices being made.
CHECK OUT: Bipasha Basu - I am trying to face my fears
She says, 'I am not the kind of actor who wants to piggyback on another person's success. I am pretty confident of myself. Somehow I have always been like that. Tomorrow if there is a film which is entirely on my shoulders, I will go all out to give it full justice. However that would be because of the power of the role and the performance and not just because it features me in any frame.'
Meanwhile we look forward to the kind of screen time that Bipasha enjoys once AATMA releases all over on 22nd March.
