I was thinking the same. Now most actors are getting into masala genre and majority of the movies will be masala. So if we are not allowed to discuss masala movies AT ALL without hurting sentiments then WTH are we doing here? This reminds me of the silly fangirls infesting the soap forums who start crying the moment someone criticizes their favorite show/actor.

Why does it have to be a SRK vs Salman thing in a Ajay/SOS thread? Why does it have to a masala vs non-masala discussion? Cant we simply discuss SOS in this thread? When Barfi was released there was lots of criticism for that movie too. I didnt see anyone whining over it. I also remember there were threads criticizing critically acclaimed films like OMG, Kahaani. People who disagreed said so POLITELY instead of making it a issue about patriotism or elitism issue. I wish some people grew up and most importantly found something PRODUCTIVE to do instead of obsessing over BO numbers ALL THE TIME.

I don't know why people takes films so seriously

At end of the they are fictional based story. Come on who expect realism from cinema which is made to JUST ENTERTAIN.

And all those cinema lovers who claim they love realistic cinema. Tell which Hindi film has broadcasted most realistic work without exaggerating a bit.

Barfi for example. What was so real about that?
Or Gangs of Wasseypur? The amount of heavy drama dosage shown in these so called art films . By god I swear no one goes through such in real life.

So in Turban sequence in SOS, shirt ripping apart in Dabangg, stopping train with Jacket, walking with sand flying in 786, jumping 200m with blade in Rowdy Rathore, one man army killing 20 in Dabangg 2, cars flying in golmaal and Bol Bachchan, water ripping shirt open in Bodyguard and wedding fight climax in ready SEEMS UNREALISTIC AND STUPID so does, Losing memory and gaining them back by getting hit by a car each time in JTHJ, that Sperm prediction thing By Anu Kapoor in Vicky donor, that revenge without dying in Kahaani, Sridevi going to English classes every day and never got caught or questioned by her sister, so does Raj following Simran to Indian despite knowing where she is based, or the whole overrated drama in Rockster or even Farahn finding his father in ZNMD.

Stop picking on masala films just coz thy are doing well.

It is not...I have been on this forum since 2005...never have I seen this kind of situation on any section of IF...there is no liberty to speak anything...iss ki baat kyon ki...uska post kyon like kiya...seriously I sometimes feel like I am in a High School...

Trust me this such films won't be criticized on if they were flops. But just it was a success. Everyone who disliked the film will go on bashing despite ignoring the that there specific people who liked it.

And fans answer back, people get irritated. I don't get the point.
