Who do you think gave a good performance in 2012 but is being overlooked? (I guess you can say overlooked by the award shows since its award season)

Off the top of my head:

1) Sridevi - for English Vinglish

This one shocks me the most as I found it path-breaking

2) Sanjay Dutt- Agneepath

Is he even getting nominated? I found him awesome. A real "villain" at after so long. He deserves the award so much more than Rishi 😕

3) Diana Penty- Cocktail

I thought she gave a really mature performance - she should have been nominated for best supporting actress. But I still feel she didnt get the amount of hype and praise she deserved.

4 ) Genelia- Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya

I thought she did well!

Rishi Kapoor in Agneepath???

I thought he was more awesome than Sanju baba--- Sanju baba was awesome as well. !!!

I think Genelia is very very under rated in Indian film...the last heroine in bollywood or Indian cinema I can think off who had incredibly comic timing was Legendary Sridevi...her potrayel in Chalbaaz or Even Mr,India was just nuts...Sadma as well..

after Sridevi...if somebody does comedy well as an actress..it is Genelia...Tere Naal...Bommarillu(Telugu)...Jane tu..she has that comic timing to her which we rarely..infact do not find in actresses these days..

Nawazuddin's performance in Kahaani was snubbed too. I think he got a few nominations but didnt win. Parambrata from Kahaani didnt even manage to get nominations.

Besides Sridevi, Paresh Rawal in OMG.

Parambrata in Kahaani. BOB BISWAS. How can you ignore Nomoshkar?? 😡 😆

Parambrata is a great mention..

Richa Chadda from GOW was amazing as well..I thought she was better than huma qureshi...not sure if she won anything!!

There were way too many good performances this year so some had to be snubbed.

But Paresh Rawal deserved to win something along with Parambrata and Nomoshkar from Kahaani..

would Nomoshkar really count as a good performance or an example of good character writing??

coz the guy barely had anything to do other than say "Nomoshkar ek minute"...ofcourse, the way the director used it became cult...so its more credit to the director rite?

I agree with the parambatta thing though...
