The good things-
1) The performances--usually I hate performances but surprisingly their were good performances in the show. I personally and surprisingly enjoyed Ranveer's tribute to 90s and big stars of today-SRK, Salman, Aamir, Akshay and Ajay. Also, enjoyed SOTY star's performances. Ranbir and PC were good too.
2) The tributes-the above mentioned tribute, Kapoor family tribute, yash raj heroines collage were too good
3) The best film-Paan Singh Tomar

The bad things-
1) The tied awards--best actor to Irfan Khan and Ranbir Kapoor (decide one) and best actor in a comic role to Abhishek Bachchan and Annu Kapoor
2) SRK and Karan Johar's jokes and hosting abilities fell flat. I usually like them both as hosts but something was amiss. Also the achievers part was done haphazardly.
3) Rekha giving out the award to Yash Chopra. Sridevi or Raakhee would have been a better choice since they have worked in more than one film with him.
4) Why no tribute to Shashi Kapoor and Kapoor sisters in the Kapoor family tribute
5) Random stars giving out awards.😕

The most memorable moment - when Yash Chopra got the lifetime achievement award. A lot of people had tears in their eyes. Karan Johar was inconsolable.

The most energetic person - Parineeti Chopra! She seemed to enjoy so much, her energy was infectious and I almost started enjoying the show!

I found it weird that during the Kapoor tribute, Ranbir even danced to one of his songs. Eh? Was that a tribute to himself? 😆🤪

Karan Johar's motto: Its all abt loving your family...

Ranbir Kapoor's motto: Its all abt loving your self...

He should've danced to Kareena and Karisma's numbers... would've been fun

I really enjoyed Ranveers performance.
Tribute to top 5 hero's since their debut till now.
Best performance I've seen in recent times.

Also liked 2012 tribute of Priyanka's. Lol especially the 100.cr club dance.

SOTY were good. Infact used all their songs except Ratta Maar which was average at best

Sonakshi's performance was awesome. Really energetic. Liked how they introduced her

I was actually expecting Jhanjariya and Bebo Main Bebo

For me Karishma and Kareena were always bigger than any other Kapoors except Raj Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor

Yess! Sonakshi was awesome too! She seemed to enjoy a lot during her performance which was evident in her dance

Sid was a bit awkward in that song but the other songs were really good!
I liked how they didn't go overboard with performances
Ranveer was too good! Wasn't expecting it from him, but it shows that he has followed those actors and they are iconic.

On a side note! I hope DPAD doesn't become another Rekha in making, she looked so smitten with Ranbir Kapoor. They showed DP more than Katrina😕. Katrina seemed genuinely happy when Salman won the popular award😳
