I have never seen Katrina so beautiful as she did in the last scene when Samar goes over to diffuse the second bomb and she's looking at him from afar in a white saree. Such innocence in her face, looking beautiful with little to no makeup and wet eyes.

I wasn't sure about Kat in this role until I saw that scene. Now I do not think that anyone else could have given such an innocent, angelic look in that scene and clearly Yashji knew that. Her sad innocence, her vulnerability and even her confusion was necessary to bring out this role and Kat was and is indeed the perfect person for it. When you watch Meera, you can say that this is the kind of person that Samar can love because they bring out the best in each other. Watching the film the second time makes this more clear.

Last time i cried genuinely because i use that in films also is in a scene when i'm talking to Katrina in Church in Jab Tak Hai Jaan .. I was telling her i felt very gentle & I know it is just a scene but maybe one of the 2 takes or 3 takes i did I've cried actually .. I was explaining to her (Katrina) at premiere actually that just sometimes i feel a moment between people ..a thought and it permeates into the scene beyond what is written to me - Shah Rukh Khan[ x ]
