The director and the actress will get married after dating for seven years
Mohit Suri fell in love with Udita Goswami when he made his directorial debut Zeher (2005) starring her, Shamita Shetty and Emraan Hashmi. Word just in, the director has decided to make it official after an eventful seven years Mirror has learnt Mohit and Udita will tie the knot sometime this year.
A source close to the couple revealed, "Mohit and Udita have dated each other for the longest time. Like every couple, they went through some rough patches. In fact, in 2011, their relationship turned so sour that Udita went away to Los Angeles. Mohit was very upset at the time but didn't lose hope. Despite immense personal turmoil, he even made Murder 2, which turned out to be a hit."
A source adds, "Udita came back from LA and they were reunited. Mohit has finished shooting Aashiqui 2 and is in a very happy state of mind. After discussing with Udita, they have decided to make their relationship official."
A delighted Mohit said, "Yes, it's true I am getting married. I have known Udita for nine years now. I always go with my instincts and I felt it's the right time to take the relationship ahead." Here's wishing them a super hit.
