Well I don't think this is such a big deal. I'm sure it must have been a mazakiya exchange between the two rather than Kareena falling at Arbaaz's feet. But one thing I don't understand, why would an actress of Kareena's stature want to do an item song willingly? 😕 It detracts from her credibility as an actress.

this is not just another Item Number. This is the most high profile Item Number of the year. It's supposed to be the next Munni...the biggest hit of 2012

and here i am sitting and hoping kareenas talaash performance gets recognized in a big way. wanting her to go up on stage so that i can hear the claps. does she even need some high profile item number to get signed by good producers and directors for good roles.

Well She did this song b4 Talash was out 😳 n dnt worry she is getting loads of claps for her role in it...n no she doesn't need the high profile number to get her roles but she needs them for well...for herself 😛 to feel good, to be part of something big in a yr which was full of hits n misses in her professional life...she wanted to finish it on an high n she got it. N this is Kareena we are talking abt she is ambitious gutsy n has no qualms in telling the world she thinks she is the best n wants to be in everything thats big so yaa being in the movie is a ego boost for both Kareena n the dabanng group to hv a big actress in their song, its a win win situation for all.

Talash was all abt Amir b4 it was released Kareena was nowhere but now that it is released Kareena is getting her share of praise all becoz of her acting 😊

n if fate takes a turn n Kareena sees the down again she will bounce back in no time like she did b4...during JWM n even after the KI fiasco...she is talented n has the fire to make it large n is highly competitive so success is nvr far frm her 😊
n an occasional Item number wont make the niche audiences forget her stellar performances in Dev, Omkara, Chameli, JWM even 3I...For me she is the best we hv in current gen in terms of acting...no one can do silent emotional scenes like her.

Seriously? 22 pages of a full fledged continuous bickering going on the basis of something as minor as kareena wanting to do an item number? I mean who the hell cares. Geez people, you take bollywood way too seriously :/ My take, remain a sane viewer, create a defense mechanism to protect those over sensitive hormones of ours, dance around, perve on the opposite gender (no harm in admiring good genes right?) one should not relieve the bondage of self. Stick to self domination and your spared from what i like to call the 'fanatic-domination' :)
