EPIC ka matlab kya hota hai...of course JTHJ is EPIC...just look at the forum...people are just addicted to JTHJ...its like a stampede to give comments...ab ye toh EPIC movie ka hi kamal hai..🤣...nahi toh SOS bhi release hui...bechare ko ek insaan nahi poochhh raha hai😭😭

This whole issue of JTJH turning out to be a disappointment in terms of script and story reminds me of Kareena Kapoor and her big mouth. As always, she used to talk too much about her work and movie, describing it the next best thing to come out, only for the audience to be majorly disappointment...a recent example being, Heroine.

When was JTHJ ever promoted as some "epic love saga" ...not that I remember ever. Trust me, I've been following JTHJ promotions very closely, saw all their interviews and nowhere have they said anything along the lines of 'this will be the most beautiful love story', 'this is the best love story of recent times'. It never was anything like that...its the media who has totally hyped this up with all their "expectations" by reporting how its YC's last swan song, the most romantic directors last venture...SRK coming back as "king of romance" yada yada yada!

What the cast mostly projected the movie usually was that the language of the movie is modern, but the essence of love that Yash Chopra has presented till now would be the same. And this held very true for me when I watched it. I never expected something as grand as VeerZaara or Chandni cuz I knew this film never looked like that just from its promos...and by watching their interviews, it was confirmed even more.

Agreed that the movie comes with faults and may not be the best work of YC ...but heck I don't think even VeerZaara was that great either! I rate Lamhe as YC's best work.

And who cares anyway about who liked the movie and who didn't? It's not like if people trash this movie on I-F that it's going to stop making money. Nope. The movie is still running and earning tons of money. Don't know why some fans get so offended and NO, just because some fans don't immediately start arguing does not mean they're not offended by some comments. They actually decide to take another route and start making those indirect snide remarks, which are a fail, tbh. Funny...you want people to make valid points but at the same time you can't handle the criticism? Choose one, maybe?
