I dont get it. Which movies makes sense these days? Every movie has got something stupid.
Atleast with the flaws as well, JTHJ was amazing!<3

Kahaani made sense...so did Vicky Donor...and so did Ferrari ki Sawaari...Barfi made a LOT of sense to me...and so did both the Gangs of Wasseypur. Shanghai and Paan Singh Tomar also made sense to me and so did English Vinglish.
Please don't dumb down the entire film industry, just because of one film. The above mentioned films might not make any sense to you, but it made a lot of sense to a lot of sensible people in India and abroad!

I live abroad
And isnt that just 7 movies?
Is that the only releases that we have had. Proportions speak more.
And none of what you mentioned are love stories.

Barfi was a love story...and while the canvas wasn't 'Epic', the story and treatment were far, far superior to JTHJ!
And we are not talking numbers here. I am talking about the word you used, 'making sense'. Even if the above-mentioned films are less in numbers, they still do make an impact...and by clubbing all the films as being senseless, I thought you were doing a gross injustice to the wonderful films that are made alongside the big-budget blockbusters!
I agree that films like JTHJ have a much larger audience...but I was talking about quality...about films that make sense to a small minority like us!😊
