Student Of The Year Opens Pretty Well At Multiplexes

Student Of The Year opened pretty well at multiplexes with collections on average around 45-50% in the metros. The opening is dependent on the location with premium multiplexes in and around Delhi taking a good 60% opening but a good PVR property in Nagpur opening to 35%.

The first day collections will be helped by the fact that the multiplexes which are big collectors will have good collections. The best opening for the film was in the Delhi city area.

There are two ways at looking at the opening, it is a good start if you go by the face value of the film but average going the budget of the film.

The single screen opening is likely to be low and hoe tha metro and A centre multiplex audience behaves will decide the fate of the film.

Daughter insisted on seeing it so we went... She didnt like it it all😆...I think I liked it more than she did. The boys looked good...I didnt like Alia too much...some song- dances are nice and there are a few jokes thrown in but the story is lame... the characters are too shallow. I think Anurag Kashyap and his ilk have spoilt me...just cannot take fluff anymore😃
