She can do item numbers just fine, but I just can't see her doing a serious role in JTHJ either. Let's see how that turns out to be. It might be too early to judge (though I don't have high expectations going by the promos). She's supposedly already 28 so she has a few years. But she hasn't established herself to be a good actress in her 9-10 year old career, so even if she does a "comeback" film in her late 30s/40s, she'll probably end up like Preity, and not match up to the likes of Madhuri or Sridevi (obviously).

Everyone knows she's cast for her looks, and how horny men like to watch her jiggle her assets.. as they say, "sex sells." And that's what Katrina is - the sex/looks factor in almost all her movies. And lbr, a lot (not all) of people are obsessed with her because she's foreign, and fair and half-white and whatnot. As long as she has that going for her, she's a superstar and doesn't need to be an actress.. for now. The audience will get bored of her eventually... she's mostly known for Sheila ki Jawaani and Chikni Chameli anyway. None of her roles stand out.. she doesn't have a Jhilmil/Meghna like Priyanka, Geet/Chameli like Kareena, Silk like Vidya or even Veronica like Deepika. Everyone's getting ahead of her, or is way ahead of her, and she's still pretty much where she was when she started off.

So yeah, she might as well just stick to item numbers. She just can't do acting. I won't be surprised if Alia Bhatt even ends up learning acting faster than she does. 😆

And wth, I wrote more than I expected to. I don't even dislike her much. 😳
