I guess i will just call it difference of opinions, I would read it as talent being over shadowed by a pretty face not really white skin as i notice now people especially guys like ladies with a darker tone. As for fair and lovely ads etc, well there will always be people who will want to be fair hence these ads are for them but they are a certain section of india, just like there is another section who are now more comfortable with darker skin tone and like it better. Just the same way there are advertisements about condoms in india, but it does not mean all the couples in india use it or have sex before marriage, Some things would always be there but they dont represent the entire india. Just my opinion. 😊
