Urmila Matondkar: long time no see!
The babe was recently spotted at the India International Jewellery Week 2012. And it seems like a decade since we last saw her making a public appearance
Posing for the paparazzi and greeting the media with a warm smile, Urmila Matondkar was seen in a gorgeous Anita Dongre creation a few days ago. Holding a Chanel clutch and strutting around in clunky heels, Ms Matondkar seemed to be in a very pleasant mood. The last we saw her make a diva-like appearance was at Karan Johar's birthday bash, which was a long time ago. And she must have madeher presence felt in a couple of small events after that, but it didn't exactly help her get noticed.
We think the Marathi mulgi looks quite nice. And even though her choice of footwear is a tad disappointing, we are willing to forgive her for that. We wish to see her more-not just at posh events- but also delivering power packed performances in movies, like she used to so many years ago. C'mon, she has some brilliant films to her credit. Pinjar, Ek Hasina Thi, Bhoot - we remember these flicks 'coz of Ms Matondkar. But seems like the actor is out of her element these days, and even filmmakers don't seem too interested in getting her back on track. We guess we simply have to learn to let go of the Rangeela babe…until she decides to hit back with a vengeance, of course!
