Salman says no to small town promotions

Superstar Salman Khan is playing safe - he has decided against travelling to smaller cities to promote his forthcoming film " Ek Tha Tiger" and he has a valid reason to do so.

"It's not about crowd control. There are women and kids and in their excitement, the men try to take advantage of the fact that there are women in the crowd. Then there are kids and senior citizens who are pushed around. God forbid, if something happens, it comes on to us," the 46-year-old said. ( 🤣..yes, because such incidents never happen in cities, don't they?, city boys are so much well behaved 🤪, tu toh bahut dhood ka dhula hua hai 🤡)

"If someone gets injured, that's Ok 🤣 but god forbid if someone dies in these mishaps, then the responsibility falls on us. (since when did you ever take responsibility for anything? 😆) Then if our security guard pushes someone to protect us, then that also becomes a big issue. So it's better to stay away from all this," he added.

Meanwhile, Salman, who is in an excellent phase of his career where anything he touches turns to gold, says the credit for it goes to those who work behind the scenes to make an excellent final product.

"I have just been lucky. There are people who have worked very hard on their own craft that has made me reach this phase of my life. There are films that have already been made and have done OK and have been great for me, lots of people have worked hard on them," said Salman.

"Like now, Kabir (Khan) has worked really hard on his script and direction. Adi ( Aditya Chopra) and Yash Raj have put in a lot of creativity and money in Tiger ('Ek Tha Tiger'). So when all these things come together on screen, I am going to be hugely benefited by the success of the Friday," added Salman.

Directed by Kabir Khan, "Ek Tha Tiger" stars Salman in the role of a spy while Katrina Kaif features will be seen opposite Salma. It hits theatres on Aug 15.

So the "hero of the masses" just labeled the masses as a bunch of sexual perverts, masha'allah 👏... let's not forget that most of India is comprised of these small towns, and it's these very same people who have put Lallu bhai at the top, and this is how he repays them, by looking down at them and humiliating them. 👏

You have a point...louts can be found everywhere-cities or small towns. Why just refuse to go to small towns?

The most hilarious thing is that he is basically saying that he doesn't care if these people die in a stampede, he just doesn't want them to die because the responsibility will fall on him. 😆

Okay was ignoring this, but i saw entire interview and this is out context, and snyways not his decision but the directors, even Katrina said it was not a good idea. salman also said he didnt want anyone getting hurt just to see him or in general. But as usual people will take it outta context and those here without seeing the actual interview will get an opportunity to take a jibe, despite Salmans intentions being good.
