The Big B gossips

Amitabh Bachchan is unarguably the most celebrated actor in Bollywood till now. Popularity comes with its own prices. He too was never spared from the gossip columns. So many columns have been spared exclusively to rumor about his romantic affairs.

This was centered on three lead actresses during his primetime – Rekha, Parveen Babiand Jaya Bhaduri. He married the third girl, but still gossip mills never stopped working. Amitabh's onscreen chemistry with his co-star Rekha was much appreciated and these two stars were the favorite subjects of gossip pen pushers.

The rumors became wilder during the shooting ofSilsila, in which Amitabh, Jaya and Rekha worked in a triangle love story. Without much surprise, Silsila was a great commercial success and this helped to lessen the gossips.

Amitabh has always been silent on his rumored affairs with Rekha while she occasionally revealed her feelings during some interviews. But rumors spilled over when Parveen Babi made some revealing comments about Big B.

Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai love story

The controversy surrounding Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai has been much heated one in the media and was noted by its nasty proportions. Their relation started with the blockbuster film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and it lasted from 1999 – 2001. Their relationships ended, but with much sound and fury.

Salman once barged onto the sets of Aishwarya's film Kuch Na Kaho and pushed her to the ground. In another nasty incident, he reportedly tried to quarrel with Aiswarya during the shooting of another movie. These incidents fuelled the controversies to add more fire to them.

After their break-up in March 2002, Ash had a short 'stint' with Vivek Oberai and he was also reportedly harassed by Salman. Then she became Aishwarya Rai Bachchan by marrying Abhishek Bachchan on April 20, 2007.

Raj Kapoor and Nargis affair

Rumors were always strong that there was an off-screen chemistry and affair between Raj Kapoorand Nargis. Raj Kapoor's directorial venture Aag (1948), showed the two in lead roles. After this, they paired in films like Barsaat (1949), Awaara (1951), Shree 420 (1955), Chori Chori (1956) and Jaagte Raho (1956). These romantic films fared well in box office, and rumors were also gained strength eventually.

With her admirable performance in Mother India, in 1957, Nargis entered to more fame as an actress. The rumors quelled a bit when she married Sunil Dutt. Though Sunil Dutt and Nargis maintained a steady silence on all these things, one of Raj Kapoor's biographies (written by Lata Khubchandani) has mentioned about the relationship with Nargis.

Akshay Kumar's affairs

Akshay Kumar, who is fondly known as Akki, has always been in controversies on his affairs withRaveena Tandon and Shilpa Shetty, but he has been faithful to his wife since his marriage. He also admitted during an interview that he had affair with the two actresses but he said that after marriage things were different.

Akki once described himself as a 'Ladies man' and he never finds anything wrong with having affairs with actresses. But he never answers Shilpa's remark that he had left her in the lurch.

Well, this Ladies' man is going on strong. Little birds are saying about his closeness with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.

Clash of the Khans

The rivalry between the two Khans of Bollywood – Salman and Shah Rukh Khan – has been one of the most controversial news in Bollywood. Their rivalry attained nasty proportions when they even almost came to blows during a party. The two had a nasty exchange of verbal assaults in front of friends and fans.

It happened during the party hosted by Salman Khan. Shah Rukh Khan attended the party with wife Gauri and Karan Johar. It is said that the 'diplomatic attire' of the two khans lost after a few drinks and they got in a serious exchange of verbal assaults. Friends intervened before they came to blows. The feud is still simmering between the two, though not so apparently.
