Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in Karan Johar's next?

Karan Johar is known for introducing new pairs. Be it Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma, Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan orSonam Kapoor and Imran Khan, Karan has managed to get different pairings every time. This time he has got Shahid Kapoor andDeepika Padukone for his forthcoming film.
We heard one of his assistant directors; Taran Vir Singh is set to direct this untitled film. Taran assisted Ayan Mukherjee during Wake Up Sid. Taran is all set to direct his own film which is slated to commence by next year.
Deepika Padukone is presently working on Ayan Mukherjee's Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani produced by Karan Johar. Shahid Kapoor will be working with Karan Johar for the first time. It can be recalled that Karan offered him Kaal in 2005 but he refused to be part of it.
