he has repeated this where ever possible that he's not a role model and i agree with his statement. i don't wanna compare him to other bollywood biggies on this cuz i truly believe bollywood stars or any celebrity can never be a role model for youngsters. those who believe they are, well that's their choice

i wasn't one of his fans who supported him during this whole mumbai cricket ground fiasco cuz i knew he was wrong and he is despite his clarifications. and im happy that he accepted his mistake and listened to his family cuz his biggest strength and weakness is his family

whether ppl like it or not it's a known fact that he's da biggest brand of india for foreign ppl like myself. plus he's living his life under a microscope where media and ppl follow his every action and word. he has no choice but to accept it and i've heard him saying he worked all his life for being recognized by ppl and that he won't be able to live if ppl forget him

i don't know why im blabbering all this here... 😆

I feel the IPL win has helped SRK come back into his senses.

We must not forget SRK is huge star...& when you are SRK I think it's hard to accept that you can be wrong, or that you can fail. Sure, he may sound contradicting with this entire MCA issue at times, or he may have crossed limits but in the end, if he can say that he did feel ashamed, or that he IS scared to accept failures etc then I feel that's very honest of him. As I said earlier, he's SRK..I'm sure he can be very insecure & frustrated like any of us. The fact that he still talks about the issue shows that he knows he took it a bit too far, regardless of what happened. I sound like a total fangirl 😆..but I really don't see anything wrong in what he said here.

Given the fact that he has been having one fracas after another I will wait a while before deciding that he has returned to his senses. 😆But yes IPL has finally given him some of his old confidence and wit back which made him the biggest star of his generation.

The problem with SRK was after a certain point he stopped failing...so when he started failing post OSO or rather not matching up to his rivals it him harder than it hits most people. Everything he was doing was going wrong...all his investments like films or cricket sounded great on paper but didnt yeild results. But the IPL win has helped him regain his confidence that atleast he is walking on the right path and things will yeild results eventually.

BUT the worst part of this new found confidence is we could get a Ra2, Ra3, Ra4, Ra5...till one of them becomes a blockbuster. 😆

yeah, SOME of his old confidence does seem to be coming back.. 😆

While I hope we don't get to see any Ra.2's or 3's with this confidence 😆, but I hope he realizes that he doesn't have to stoop to any low level if he does get frustrated or does fail...because failures & success are both bound to happen to everyone, that's just inevitable & he needs to just accept that and do the best he can. He has accomplished a lot over the past 2 decades & and that shouldn't go to waste by the unnecessary blunders he has been having as of late.

The bold bit: Same here...its a love-dislike relationship for me...with more bordering on the love side. 😆

The kind of mid-life issues he is going thru...many superstars in the past have gone thru too. The biggest examples that come to mind are Rajesh Khanna and Big B. Big B was almost finished in BW pre-KBC. He was under huge debts and had become one of the prime examples of fall of a superstar. But he bounced back. Rajesh Khanna on the other hand couldnt really bounce back and became bad to worse. So the next couple of years will decide which way will SRK go-Big B's or Rajesh Khanna's.

Success, I have seen, almost, always brings out the best in people! And failure, always brings out the devil in them!

No one other than SRK can epitomize this fact more! When he was successful, there wasn't a more charming, humble and lovable actor than him...but when he courted failure...the same man turned into a meglomaniac, egoistic and foolhardy superstar who could not get a reign on either his career or his personal life!

And now with KKR winning the IPL, our man is once again back to his charming old self!👏

It works for other stars too...Salman, when dealing with his break-up (with Aishwarya), flop films and other legal problems was the poster bad boy of bollywood!

Now, when he is happily single, an unquestionable superstar and literally the king of bollywood...he has turned into quite a gentleman!😆
