Of course...jis desh mein 50% se jyada corrupt bhare hue hain...chahe wo doctors, engineers , policeman ya politicians ho...wahan per ye corrupt log kyon chahenge ki desh sudhre...desh sudhar gaya toh inki dukaan ...jo corruption se hi chalti hai...woh band nahi ho jaayegi🤢...of course these people would want Aamir to stop...ek ek karke inki pol jo khul rahi hai🤢

Its because of attitude like this that more people don't come out to help their country...because they think that they will be either expected to become like Mahatma gandhi or no one is going to believe them..

Tell me what is so wrong in what Aamir is doing? What is so wrong if he is making the public aware of some serious issues about our country and is making money at the same time...we would rather be stuck in the shithole...but we won't let anyone help us to get out...

@bold: I don't get that logic either. By that yardstick all of us should work for nothing in return and wait for the world to become a giant amusement park. Wonders never cease. Aamir has a shady personal life, but then who doesn't?

Just for that, I'd like to see who the OP would choose as a host. Aamir is an actor, not a philanthropist. Of course he's using the show to make money, boost his goodwill, and gain brownie points in the eyes of the audience. If social issues end up being addressed as well, then why have a problem? He can do what he wants in his life. As far as I'm concerned, people talking about/taking action against deep-rooted problems in Indian society is far more important than who Aamir sleeps with or places under house arrest.

Exactly...people are refusing to look at the bigger pic...this show is not about Amir Khan or his personal life or how much money he is making through this show...this show is about the issues in India...I don't care who educates the Indians about those issues...as long as they are being educated...I would say that if this show has saved even one life somewhere, somehow...its totally worth it...At least for once a star his using his star power for the right cause and not for killing someone or slapping someone...

Why should be? He is doing work. He has star power that is helping the show. Why should he give up his fees? Free mein woh kaam kiyu kare? What Aamir's show is doing is helping ALL of us for the long run- by bringing awareness- and if he is charging for it heck so be it! Real development does not happen by giving money- real development happens when messed up system is fixed- and it gets fixed when people are aware of the mess! And if after being aware people don't give a crap then maybe they don't want change!

And his personal life should not matter! In that sense then nobody should be doing any good for anyone in this planet! It's not like he is talking about faithfulness & marriage is forever!😕 Seriously do we know what Gandhi did in his bedroom or what his bad habits were? He was a human not a saint!

Note: I do however don't like how the money is coming from big corporations- who might be exploiting desperate people and fooling customers! That's why I would like to see Aamir not only tackle Bollywood corruption (because he is from there!) but also corporate corruption! Dekhte hai agey agey kya hota hai.
