I must add, I'm sure the dance WAS hard work for her, it sure doesn't look easy, but it's just not appealing.

No it's not appealing. I honestly don't think they've given her the Marathi look, they keep giving her the same look especially with the hair and stuff didn't really like the song anyway. And some of the dance moves...🤢 why did they do that????? They looked so manly...and yeah whatever she's done to her cheeks makes her lip synch so stiff😕 the Marathi version had more feel to a Marathi song if you know what I mean but this Chikni Chameli one didn't.

the song is great but the choreography is plain bad...her expressions can't get worse...shez danced as she was told and done a pretty good job i must say ..love da energy!...but her expressions just ruin the whole thing

Chikni chameli proves that Katrina is a Fabulous dancer.😉 Its weird that people in this forum keep bashing about Katrina😲 She has managed to get the attention of everyone & people (i.e the actual world outside this forum) are loving her as Chikni chameli.

Anyway no matter what katrina does the forum will always bash her. Chikni chameli is the most played song on the music channels & its a chartbuster too.

I think the song lacks aesthetic sense...i dunt have a problem with it being vulgar...heck its an item song..and the boob and ass shaking is fine too...even sheila had tht...but see the difference in a song like sheila and a song like chikni chameli...the former is..easy on the eyes...and the latter is just 😳...its just one random thumping step after another without any flow, grace or continuity...numerous item songs in the past, like shilpa's, madhuri's songs, even something like chabeela from saawariya with rani playing a prostitute were "meant to be cheap" types...but they still had grace, poise, a certain amount of aesthetic value to them...

The dance steps were indeed cheap, but that's what the song is about. All these new item numbers are cheap so why jump on Katrina? or CC? And if a movie like TDP or "Ooh La La" can be called classy, then why not CC 😆 In my opinion both are not classy, but I would still feel less awkward watching CC than TDP.
