Anu Malik to do background score after 16 years

The much talked about film Umrao Jaan, starring Aishwarya Rai is in news yet again. Well this time the focus is rather more on the music director Anu Malik. Like his earlier films Border, Refugee and LOC, director J.P.Dutta, has roped in Anu Malik to do the music for Umrao Jaan as well. The music director since then couldn't stop talking about the film and the kind of melodious music he claims to have created for it. But the latest scoop is that, Anu will now also do the background score for Umrao Jaan.

It has been nearly 16 years that Anu Malik has done background score for any film and now when he is through with the music of Umrao Jaan, he lands up with a new assignment of doing the background score. With the popular music this man has created for films over the years, it is now to be seen if he could create right effect and feel with his background music for Umrao Jaan.
