Some time back, ace director Priyadarshan

Some time back, ace director Priyadarshan had revealed his plans to do a serious film with Sanjay Dutt , which would have the intensity and depth of his earlier films, Gardish and Virasat.

The film tentatively titled, Brasht, is among the many films that Priyadarshan is planning in the serious genre, after he last deviated from the comedy formula in Kyon Ki .

And now according to Dutt's business manager, Kalim Khan, Priyadarshan had sent a word expressing his desire to work with the star and he has been eagerly looking forward to the script narration ever since.

"We are supposed to have a sitting to that effect very soon. Sanjay is very eager to work with Priyadarshan. There are no two ways about it," Kalim recently revealed.

Currently, Priyadarshan is busy giving the final touches to his Kareena Kapoor - Shahid Kapur - Sushma Reddy starrer, Khatta Meetha , which is said to be a remake of a Malayalam film, 'Punjabi House'.

Priyadarshan's next release is Malamaal Weekly , which is scheduled for an April 2006 release.
