Asha's voice in CORPORATE is like magic

Remember the number 'Huzoor-E-Aala' in PAGE 3 rendered by Asha Bhosle that made it to the popularity charts? Well music director Shamir Tandon has once again managed to create the same magical effect with Asha-ji's voice in Bhandarkar's forthcoming film, CORPORATE. The song titled 'Lamhe Lamhe' is the theme song of the film and according to Tandon, Asha Bhonsle fell in love with the song the moment she first heard the composition. "It has the nostalgic feel of R D Burman's music and Gulzar's sentimental lyrics put together. Coupled with Asha-ji's magical voice it has a lilting effect on your ears," Tandon reveals.

He is counting upon the song to become a hot rage among the audiences once the music of the film is released next month. "It is among the two songs which are expected to become a total sell-out among the audiences, the second one being the title song rendered by Alisha Chinai. Both the songs are unique in their own way and aptly reflect the mood of the film," he informs, adding that director Madhur Bhandakar is quite pleased with his work in the film.

Meanwhile Tandon has been receiving a lot of queries from producers as music consultant to their films, ever since he did the music designing for Rohan Sippy's BLUFFMASTER. "It is akin to become a co-composer in the film but I am better off composing music," he reveals.

He has now been signed to do the music of Vinod Pande's next film, RED SWASTIK. Besides that there is an international project in which he is once again teaming up with Asha Bhosle.
