I liked her in South films but dislike her in Bollywood. She just doesn't fit the bill of a typical BW actress, I have no idea how to explain that, but it's just like gut instinct.

Asin is a good actress at times in some scenes which does awesomely in south and over does the same thing in BW...

Like some one said, South actors , are known for their acting rather than their affairs or so, thats how a actor and actress should be appreciated and noted ...

She come across as a homely and gal next door actress, but she was freaking hot with venkatesh in Garshana, but she is not able to bring that same image to herself with B town cast...

She lacks the look and sex appeal which a B town actress possess, even if they know how to act or dont know how to act, though Vidya looks homely she has to appeal in her , just a example ...

Its not like BW appreciate gals only who show skin and look sexy , else we wont be having ladies like , Kajol, Vidya, Rani, Preity etc...

and her age difference with actors elder than her in BW , clearly shows onscreen,

I like her for her acting , but she is annoying with things she handle herself , she is better in south where work is more appreciated , not in BW, BW is not for her ...

Totally agree! Very well worded :) I loved her in Gharshana, Amma Nana o Tamil Ammayi [M.Kumaran Son of Lakshmi (Mahalakshmi?)] . She has a lot of potential as an actress, but I think she should stick with the South. Bollywood is definitely not her thing.

Even Ready was the remake of a South film, and Genelia was awesome in the original, btu like Asin could have potentially pulled it off in the South. BW --> They should have found someone else I think.

There's a ton of actresses like that though, who try to pave their path in BW, and end up flopping epicly, even though they were significant hits in the South. Trisha, Shriya Saran are two that come to mind.

But honestly, her movies in Hindi have sucked bigtime. I watch them and like want to cry, cause they're just that horrible.

Watched the Dhinka Chika video and was like what is she wearing? The outfits just did not suit her in my opinion.

agree with u about Trisha and Shriya, though i like none of them 😆... i was thinking may be they will make a mark here , but even after having a good looks they lacked the needed punch to be in BW...

I dont watch South movies, last was Garshana, so donno about Ready and Genelias work in that ...

When i ready Geni will be shown sensuous , i was like Huh , ok , will the gal be able to pull it off, but she did ...it was ok i can see her like that in BW, if Asin or Tirsha does something like that , i will die 🤣 its so so not for them ...its not about having a slim or fit looking body, its beyond that ...

waise bhi , BW hardly has a good script for ladies, BW is a big media but not worth giving up ur fame in other fields to make a mark here ...

Donno how Asin will survive here , though i strongly feel she will have her break with housefull2, as other ladies , she is holding on to salman like anything , thinking he will do magic for her , she let him go she will be little appreciated or noticed ...

Another reason for her movies being useless is scripts, wat is she thinking ? when she was in LD and ready ? even her pairing , gal experiment with others to get noticed

🤣 OMG The options...I honestly like Asin...erm...but she disappointed me in Ready and London Dreams...she's pretty but she doesnt have the oomph factor that Bollywood would want..I think she can look hot but I dunno...

She is much better in Tamil movie. She has a spark in Tamil movie which has completely gone missing in Bollywood.

Think she is having an identity crisis.

I think she needs to stay away from the biggies for awhile. Like others have said, that spark she used to have is gone and she needs to get back to basics. Maybe smaller films, which she has more scope in than just being the 'heroine'. And a co-star she actually has chemistry with would help a great deal. In other words, stay away from Salman! Onscreen at least. 😉
