Ranbir's world tour back on!

After his role in Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar, it seems that Ranbir has grown to enjoy performing to large audiences. Reportedly, the actor is gearing up to go on his first ever world concert.

A source informed Mumbai Mirror that the Moranis, who were the brainchild of this tour, had initially scheduled Ranbir's world concert for the beginning of this year. But, the actor's 16-city concert in the US and Europe was cancelled at the last moment. However, now we hear that the plan is back on.

The source explained, "Aly Morani met Rabir, last month, at Chandivali studio, Andheri East, where the actor was shooting for Barfee. They had a two-hour long conversation. Ranbir gave Morani his word that he was ready to kick-start the world tour. In fact, the actor also discussed dates with Morani."

The source revealed that the first concert was cancelled because Ranbir unlike the other stars - Priyanka, Katrina, Malaika and Bipasha - did not have any hit number to entertain the audience with. "Deepika and Sonam too were part of the concert, but were dropped out because of their negative comments about Ranbir on a TV chat show.

Also, Ranbir had a plan in mind. He wanted to go on stage after the release of Rockstar. Now that the music of the film has become an instant hit, he is very confident to perform on stage," added the source.

Despite repeated attempts, the Morani brothers remained unavailable for comment
