Karisma Kapur was one of the most loved and adored actresses of her generation. She is making a comeback with Vikram Bhatt's Dangerous Ishq. Most of her films didn't do justice to her talent. Here are some movies you can watch. |
Zubeidaa: If you are not a Karisma Kapur fan, this film will convert you to one. She is absolutely spectacular as the obstinate and gorgeous heroine of the film. The period look becomes her and how! Khalid Mohamed's writing and Urdu diloagues are simply beautiful and the music is lovely. You have to watch this one.
Fida: The movie was a disappointment but Karisma and Hrithik sparkled and how. They looked like brother and sister. The music was great too. This is one of Lolo's most powerful performances.
Dil Toh Pagal Hai: She won the National Award for this film. Miss Kapur looked stunningly lovely and fit in the movie. She held her own oposite an out-of-shape Madhuri in the dancing department and really sparkled. This Yash Chopra had fabulous music too and is watchable even today.
Biwi No.1: This is one of those Salman-Karisma-David Dhawan movies that minted cash at the BO. Karisma was mostly in traditional clothes through the film but she really held the film together. If you like movies of the 1990s, then you could watch this.
Hero No. 1: Govinda, Karisma, and David Dhawan didn't make particulalry acclaimed cinema but this is among their better films as a trio. Karisma looked great and really acted in a movie that didn't need her to act. Typical masala entertainment ala 1990s style.
